Please pray for the many people who recently lost thier homes in the fires. Some 30,000 were evecuated, however it appears that they are getting things under controll and people are being allowed to return. While some will return to thier homes, others will return to complete destruction and loss.
Pray For One Another
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Jam 5:16
Prayer For Missionary
Dear Fellow Christian,
I’m writing to ask you to pray for a Gospel for Asia film team worker who is recovering from a severe attack. On April 13 Balram Kumar was in Assam, India, where his team planned to show a film about the life of Christ. While he was in the area, some people from an insurgency group began to bother him. They pushed him to leave the film team and join their group. He refused and they beat him up. Our dear brother is bruised and swollen from the beating. He is hospitalized at the present time. Please pray for his healing. Also pray that the men who attacked him would come to know the love of Jesus.
Please also take time to pray for all our film teams. What happened to Balram is not an isolated incident; these dedicated brothers face situations like these
in almost every village they visit. They need your prayers to sustain and protect them.

Prayer For My Wife
Heart Mussel Damage
Back in December we like most families were looking forward to Christmas. Our daughter came down with a virus, then my wife and then myself. On December 17th my wife went to the doctors with flu like symptoms only to be sent to the emergency room. She ended up in ICU and seven days later left the hospital with a damaged heart mussel, her heart only working at 20 percent and a pacemaker. I was so sick while my wife was in the hospital that I was unable to even visit her, remained at home and cared for our daughter.
There has been improvement regarding my wife’s heart. She is no longer encountering many symptoms that she was encountering the 1st 60 days of her recovery. Yet still she is in recovery and we have a ways to go in this situation.
Please pray for healing, that God would strengthen her and that the peace of God would guard her heart.

Prayer For Missionary
Dear Friend in Christ,
I am writing to ask for your prayers for justice in a situation that has just come up. Gospel for Asia supported missionary Aman James has been accused of
something he did not do. In the rural village where Aman works, someone robbed an elderly woman while she was walking through a jungle between her home and a market. Unfortunately, the only way the woman could describe the thief was that he was tall. Searching for the thief, the villagers turned to Aman, who is the tallest man in his village. After two village meetings, the residents accused him of the crime and began trying to chase him out of the area.
Please pray for God’s intervention in this unusual situation. Pray that the villagers will believe Aman and let him stay and serve without a reputation that
would hinder his ministry. Pray also that the real thief will be apprehended.
